This is a family game created by our family:

 

  • It was inspired by the enthusiasm of my wife and daughters.

  • The initial gameplay was worked out by me and my son.

  • We are all working on getting the word out about our game.

  • We have played the game as a family many times to make sure families everywhere will love it.

 

The original idea of the game:

 

  • We were playing a game that had tiny plastic ducks in it and we spent half the game talking about how cute the ducks were.

  • My wife loves Highland Cows and I had a thought, "What if the ducks were cows?"

 

We started to work out the game play:

 

  • We wanted to keep it simple so that it would be easy for families to play. 

  • There had to be an element of risk reward and we came up with our "push your luck" dice rolling system. 

 

It was important to make sure it was competitive and fun:

 

  • To harness the competitive edge we introduced Action Cards.

  • To make it fun for the whole family we came up with the farm theme and the story of the animals escaping from the mean farmer.

But we had to make sure families would love it:

 

  • I allowed some of my middle school students to play the game. 

  • I was extremely pleased that it held the attention of teenagers for 40 minutes.  As a teacher I know how difficult that is. 

 

But would adults love it?:

 

  • We then invited our friends over to play the game.

  • They loved the game play, they loved the theme, and of course they loved the little animal game pieces.  (Who does not like little farm animals?)  

 

Timeline:

 

  • Now:  Taking pre-orders and for our VIPs offering a free customization.

  • March 2026:  Post it on Kickstarter

  • May 2026:  Send orders to manufacturer. 

  • August 2026:  Games shipped to backers.
