Before I started teaching I thought my days would be filled with me sharing all of my knowledge with my students and finding ways in which to make the content relatable and creative.
I knew there would be some issues of talking and disruption but I thought a quick reminder to get back on task would be all that it would take.
Man was I wrong.
20 years later my classroom is a night a day difference than when I first started but even today I still have to deal with behavior that I could not have imagined 20 years ago.
Because I work so hard on my classroom management, most of my behaviors can be resolved with a quick reminder, a name on the board, or even a small detention, but I always still have those students that take it to the next level.
