🌟 New Teachers: You’re Not Alone! 🌟

👩‍🏫 If you are just starting your teaching journey, you might feel overwhelmed. There’s so much to think about—lesson plans, IEPs, referrals, testing, and even something as simple as “Where’s the copy machine?” It’s a lot!

💡 The most important thing to remember is this: You are not alone. Every teacher—yes, even the ones who look like they have it all together—has been in your shoes.

🎯 In your first few years, your main goal should be simple: survive the school year. Teaching is a marathon, not a sprint. Each year you’ll learn something new—what lessons work, how to connect with students, and how to manage parents and expectations.

⚡ The key skill to focus on right now? Classroom management.

• It’s more important than perfect lesson plans.

• It’s more important than perfectly organized data.

• It’s what keeps you in the classroom year after year.

🛑 Teachers don’t get fired for not teaching a perfect lesson. But many struggle or leave the profession because of classroom management issues.

📈 The good news? You’ll get better every single year. My first years were tough—I almost got fired! But by sticking with it, I grew stronger and more confident.

🙌 Remember: Focus on managing your classroom, learn something new each year, and keep moving forward. You got this!
